That Will Do!

Snow Day

It began at 8am and continued for several hours, becoming wetter as it did so. Only amounting to two inches it caused havoc to the transport system, according to social.media.

The problem was... we were due to attend a big dance show in town. The show must go on - hundreds of dancers, including the Flumlet, ought to be descending en masses at the venue, closely followed by all the Mummies, Daddies, Grannies, Grandads, big and little siblings. Uncle Tom Cobley as well, probably. But how could we all get there?

For our own part, plans to go by bus were superceded by a search for appropriate car parking. Mr Flum had double-checked whether buses were actually running our route so it seemed a sensible alternative.

But, as the day wore on, roads were clearing, more information came through and we did indeed slither and slosh our way to the main road and a bus duly arrived. That everybody else got there was a miracle.

So the show did go on, we enjoyed it very much, the dancers were fantastic and everyone went home happy.
