Storm Bert rolls in

 
We caught the edge of Storm Bert, light fall of snow, ice, slush, rain and wind but nothing like the rest of the UK . In fact we have escaped lightly. 
Nevertheless, it’s been sufficiently icy to keep us indoors except M did venture up the road armed with two ski poles and reported conditions to be treacherous. Our road has been silent, traffic free ..
So, I have tackled de-cluttering and now I have a pile of black bags ready for an excursion to “the tip”. This is what it must be like if you move house and downsize. Now I appreciate why so many of my friends , who have done just that, say “never again, it’s too stressful”.
