View from the parking garage

The red building below is where we went for lunch today. It is right on the water in a small area where fishing boats, water taxi's and ferries dock. There is usually a lot of activity, but this shot is calm. This part of Portland is called the 'Old Port" In the 1800's tall ships would pull right up to the street and unload their cargo. A different era, there are lots of photos of these old ships and it is fun to see the areas where they docked.
