Great grey owl

My first sighting of one. They are huge birds. It landed on a post outside my sitting room window so this is a through the window shot. They then moved on into one of large trees out the front then made a dive into the snow and back to the tree.

I decided to start doing some Christmas shopping today. It didn't go well I only got a couple of things. Seems like there's not a big rush for now anyway, canada post is on strike so I can't and wont post anything until that's overwith. I did reward myself with coffee and turkey sub at my favourite cafe on the way home.
