Evening sky approaching Atlanta

Today we were driving down to Atlanta to spend an early Thanksgiving with Jen and Jason. Jen, being a nurse, is working on Thanksgiving Day this year, but she is off from tomorrow through Wednesday, so we are going down early, and we will celebrate Thanksgiving on Wednesday, and should have a nice quiet drive home on Thursday! It was a cold grey morning, but fortunately there was no more precipitation, and we had good drive down, the weather improving once we got down into Tennesee, though not a great deal warmer. Unfortunately we arrived in The Atlanta area at rush hour, so had a very slow last 70 miles or so, finally arriving about 7.30. Jen got home around 8.15 and we enjoyed dinner cooked by Jason, who is glad to have a week off teaching classes.
