Full waterproofs worn but managed to miss the heavy rain.
It's Saturday so Mum & I picked out our winners at Haydock, Ascot, & Punchestown. Just explaining the process to Mum is difficult now but its a break from the colouring in, jigsaw puzzles & wordsearch.
Back to Chudleigh for toasted sandwiches & racing on tv.
Dropped hubby off at the pub took Mum home, made her cooked meal Drawing her curtains, 2 light bulbs gone, one in each bedroom. Found spares in the cupboard, not the same wattage but thought they would do until tomorrow, neither would work. Grh! Left a note for the carers.
Back to Chudleigh, picked hubby up, started making dinner... THUD! Hubby had lost his balance, fallen over, broken the skin on his arm in 3 places plus a gash on his leg. Stopping the bleeding is a problem, managed to clean the wounds, pull the skin back over the worst, dressed and bandaged. Finished making dinner.
Sat down to eat just as Strictly started.
