Journey To Arbroath

Although very cold, the sun was out and bright. Pat expressed a wish to visit a garden centre near Arbroath that had advertised a model village.

The journey to Arbroath was enjoyable and the view out to sea were wonderful. The Bellrock lighthouse was easily picked out sitting in the horizon, the flashing light was clearly visible.

Traffic through Arbroath was very much delayed by extensive roadworks and I decided that we return by a route avoiding Arbroath. Easily done thanks to Apple Maps.

We eventually arrived at the Garden Centre to find that the model villages had been replaced with light creatures that bore a curious resemblance to Reindeer as shown in today’s entry.

The return route was completely traffic free.
