Snow

Like so many others, I got up in the morning to snow falling. It was only just beginning to fall when I got up, but considerably more fell over the course of the morning. Which would have been fun except for the fact that I had family coming over as we were supposed to be going to the Castle of Light at Edinburgh Castle. The Castle of Light was cancelled but my brother, sister-in-law and niece did come over, so we just spent the afternoon together, ordered a takeaway in the evening and they went home afterwards. In the end it was a nice day, even with the disappointment of not getting along to the Castle.
