Offensive weapon?

Ordinary day. Walked Brown Dog, watched my team win on early kick-off tv  and not much else of interest.

Trying to maintain a blipstreak I took the above-taken from my brother's house. I think it is an original old fadhioned police truncheon. Sits comfortably in the hand and is remarkably heavy. Not sure I should have it on my person in the street though. I also wonder if it has any value?
