A pattern of light
We rang eight bells this morning and after the service we attempted a quarter peal of Bob doubles in order to let Judy, our American ringer, have her first go at a quarter. I’m pleased to report that the attempt was successful. Judy must have been reasonably confident of achieving this milestone as she had bought a box of chocolates to hand round to everyone in celebration afterwards. We invited two of our visiting ringing friends from the UK around for lunch and had a pleasant afternoon.
