The other week we were encouraged by another blipper to look up.

I did this today on the way to the bank as I passed the former Customs House on Commercial Street in Leith I saw this. The Unicorn on the other side looked as if it was smiling. The Lion looks as if it has toothache.

The coat of arms is remarkably well preserved, probably because the National Museums of Scotland uses it for storage of items. The building was opened just over 200 years ago and used to be a key part of the thriving port of Leith.
