Breakfast Stop

Yesterday we were stormed in with the Rest closed due to snow and the ferries stopped due to the wind, thank goodness for the change in weather today and the rapid rise in temperatures. We left at 5am, traversed the Rest via our own personal convoy down the Old Military Road and were at our favourite A66 stop in time for breakfast and home early afternoon. The only hazards encountered were a couple of incidents of deer crossing the road.
