Bert in Porty
Actually rather low-key. This flurry of snow didn't last long and didn't settle. It wasn't even that windy. We had planned going up to Dundee to see my Dad before L went to pick up her sister L for another of their concert trips but looking at the weather reports we delayed our departure and went straight to L's. The journey was uneventful, apart from having to use the old Forth Road Bridge because the risk of falling ice had closed the Queensferry Crossing but even that was very easy. After tea at L's the two of them set off to pick up P on the way to see the Australian Pink Floyd back in Edinburgh while I settled in for an evening of films set in Paris - Funny Face, Amelie and Paris, Je T'Aime. All had their moments, with little snippets of connection that I can use in my Paris Book. Just time to see the highlights of United's very creditable point at Ibrox before L and L returned after an excellent concert.
