Consumption

Most of this meeting is being held at an upmarket lodge on the Chobe River. We are consuming very large amounts of food. Tonight’s evening activity was the showing of a film documenting life in the Okavango Delta, further south in Botswana and one of the world’s great wetlands. The film was accompanied by a buffet and I went a little overboard on the South African braai (barbecue) offerings.

African sunsets remain unparalleled, even if we can only appreciate them by rolling along the deck, several kilograms heavier.
