Lingering leaves..

...the last.

Storm Bert brought intense fast winds today, which have finally done for the lingering leaves, but it was strangely warm. We stayed sensibly indoors except for a brisk walk to the supermarket. I have been staring at a pile of Christmas cards which need writing but decided they can wait until tomorrow. I have been glued to my latest novel, The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden. It is beautifully written, set in post Nazi-era Netherlands and I am captivated.

Strictly Come Dancing results later and so hard to predict anything. There was a brilliant Rugby result for Scotland today, hooray! (Sorry Australia!)
