A busy but lovely day. I started packing properly this morning, which entailed removing my clothes from lying spread out over the floor and actually placing them in the suitcase - I am a terrible packer, I take ages to decide what to take. There is a method in my madness of laying the clothes out first as then at a glance I can see what I want to pack and whether I am happy with my choice. As we are moving around when there, I am using packing cubes and I have carefully rolled each item of clothing up so that I can easily see what is in each packing cube.
After I finished packing I started the lunch, roast lamb with roast potatoes and roast veggies plus broccoli and some extras. Unfortunately just before lunch was ready Meriel felt unwell so Meriel and Luke are not in the photos.
It was lovely to see everyone today, it is the last time Tommy will be seeing Adam for some time, as Tommy won't be with us at Christmas. It was a bit of a shock for him to realise he did not know when he would be seeing his brother again, things are so uncertain now with Tommy and Adam living abroad.
All packed and tomorrow morning we leave for the airport fairly early. I am not looking forward to the long flight - 13 hours to Singapore and then another 3.5 hours from there to Hanoi - and a 7 hour time difference! That is a long journey.
