The Barbican Centre

I'm not averse to minimalist surroundings so today I went to The Barbican Centre (1982), part of the Barbican Estate. It hosts film, theatre, music, art and has a fantastic library. The main photo shows the steps down to the concert hall. Additional views of the Centre in extras. On my way home I couldn't resist a photo of a residential block with balconies designed to protect the flats from bad weather. 

Top tip: after a performance leave asap with everyone else. This is no place to get lost in; you could be there for days.
