Warm and windy

What a change in weather since yesterday! Having the sun has made all the difference and the warmth that has appeared is extraordinary.. almost unnatural after the chill of the past few days. 
Sad to say goodbye to the young this morning and I spent the rest of the day tidying up and organising bits ready for my journey south tomorrow. I was going to go out drawing but it was so windy I decided to stay home. I rather like this little still life so might have a go at painting it at home perhaps. 
Early to bed and off as soon as possible tomorrow to get home before dark and before the rush further south.
