Coastal

Up until today I'd been enjoying my daily swimming as much as the cycling, probably even preferring it to be fair - all that riding in the wind was such a bloody struggle. But, today the wind has dropped and I went out for a ride in the afternoon sun and, even though it was hotter, and even though there was a pretty long and stiff climb in the middle of the parcours, it all just came together and gave me a bit of confidence for the next three days ahead before the bike goes back to the shop.

Earlier on we'd dropped our visiting daughter off up at the airport for her flight back to Glasgow, and then came home via La Geria where we drank great coffee and ate some super-tasty bocadillos whilst looking out over a rather fantastic volcanic landscape. Wow.
