Birthday Blues

Dearests Birthday, didn’t start well as the buildings door entry failed, now I could have waited and sort an engineer for tomorrow but unfortunately we don’t have keys to open up only a code, had anyone gone out they wouldn’t be able to get back in! It was around one thirty before we managed to make a fix (all the rain and snow had got behind the code panel and shorted the system), still need a new part but fingers crossed it will last.
By the time we left home the shops had nearly shut (saved me a fortune) but managed to have a late lunch plus a fondant fancy with a candle on it up at Harlow Carr
