Dinner party

Fab night with my best friends, Karen cooked a wonderful fresh meal of Chicken Kiev, roasted new potatoes in olive oil and herbs, sweet corn and steamed mange tout. A few drinks may have been consumed and all al fresco too. Great conversation and company.
In my tiddly state last night I forgot to mention the 'piece de resistance' Karen's home made pavalova (it has to be said like that to sound Australian! Don't ask) it was a freshly picked berry affair including tayberries, raspberries, red gooseberries, the last fresh field strawberries and red currants. Meringue is a big thing in this household!
