Winter Amethyst

A Grape Hyacinth with a fancy name!   It does flower in winter which is a plus but as it has the same habit as many of it's relatives in producing untidy leaves and many bulbils, it's very much a mixed blessing.

A quiet Sunday mostly a home.  A few chores done at home, the constant battle to get laundry done and dry before going away again almost won ... almost.   A late afternoon walk with Meg and a short visit to pottery to finish glazing those vases.  This evening a brief chat with Jamie on his birthday (he's with Clara) and a trip to his flat to sort a couple of things ready for when he returns.

Not much change with Mum in hospital.  She's very tired.  We may find out more tomorrow.
