I shaved Samuel today, I think he will live long enough to make this suffering worthwhile. His hair is so soft once you remove the top inch. 

There is a school in Canada called Ridne Slovo, meaning Native Word in Ukrainian. It is held on Saturdays and focuses on reading and writing so Ukrainian children can stay connected to Ukraine. There were dozens of kids in the school but now there are 160. 


On Friday a a surface-to-air missile system from Canada arrived in Ukraine. The system is valued at $406 million. 


“The Biden administration has moved to forgive about $4.7 billion in U.S. loans to Ukraine, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on Wednesday, as outgoing officials seek to do what they can before leaving office to bolster Ukraine in its war against Russia.”
