Looking to the future

Walking from Grafton Station to the Auckland City Hospital I pass the gateposts at the Park Road entry to Pukekawa (Auckland Domain). This morning was nicely warm, the air clean and the sky cloudless. I was drawn to take a photo of the gatepost with a sculpture of an athlete. Light and shadow draws me.
