What a day

Several centimetres of rain fell. I didn’t go out except to feed the birds. I did listen to the cricket - India v Australia- in sunny Perth, for much of the day. Otherwise wildlife podcasts. Aware that I’m very lucky - not at risk of flooding here.
If you have good eyesight you can see a bedraggled pigeon on the back wall. Apart from him the birds didn’t come in the heaviest rain. And it must have been awful for them in the trees while the wind was roaring through.
