Spanner In The Works

It’s been a quiet Saturday at home. The rain has been hammering down all day, making it dark, grey, and gloomy. Our marathon family phone upgrade session with EE was cancelled at the last minute, and I can’t deny being slightly relieved about that. Instead, I busied myself with an off-season spring clean of my study before becoming distracted by the gadgets I had unearthed. A shiny lens spanner and a 37mm to 17mm adapter became the unlikely subjects for today’s blip.

Otherwise, it’s been a day of pottering around for everyone, getting little things done. Vanessa has been hunting down the mountain of paperwork needed to finally sort out Irish passports for the boys while Gubs wrestled with his UCAS application for university next year. The new Guild Wars 2 patch, Godspawn, came out last week, and later on, I found time to get stuck into that.  Milo headed to Canterbury to see his friends, and I dropped Dash and Gubs off at the cinema (Gladiator 2) before making a nice hot balti for supper.
