The met office forecast was for an occasional shower. I was thinking about a morning walk along to Rydal, a hot drink in the tea room and a bus back. Then the sky went dark and there were a few spots of rain on the windows. I decided it would be a better idea to get the duster and vacuum cleaner out. Of course when I did the sky brightened again.

Later I walked to the building society taking the camera to get a blip on the way. I was surprised how cold and breezy it was.

I could see a blip appearing as three ladies with quilted coats and woolly hats walked towards the Salutation Hotel. I wanted to catch them by the Christmas bell decoration on the fence. As they approached it so did a car. Bad timing. Here they are a bit further along.
