Mr Tuftie

The Tufted Ducks are beginning to return again and settle on ponds and lochs for the winter.

I haven't seen any Lapwings up at the Heritage Park loch. The numbers have been declining over the years and last year there were only three. Still keeping my fingers crossed that even one might appear.

Nothing that I needed to do today, nowhere I needed to be so I allowed myself the luxury of a long lie!
