Breakfast & Dinner

Mrs S and I picked up Steve and Tina before heading over to RNAS Culdrose at Helston. The WO’s & Senior Rates Mess at HMS Seahawk provided the setting for the Cornwall Veterans Big Breakfast Three.
Bacon rolls, coffee and a catch up with friends, old and new, a chat to some of the organisations that had stalls but mainly just relaxing, networking and enjoying the company present.
Home in time for Mrs S and Sam to spend the afternoon at the dining table with friends ‘crafting’ whilst I sat in the lounge watching two rugby matches.

All change for the evening, DJ, bow tie and medals, long frock and medal for Mrs S as we headed out to the Falmouth Hotel for the Cornwall Parachute Regimental Association Pegasus Dinner, also commemorating Arnhem 80. A formal dinner with entertainment and raffle. At £2 a ticket the raffle provided fruitful for Mrs S and I, we use the RN rules, if your numbers called, collect the prize, no putting back if you have already won otherwise you are there all night so I claimed all three prizes.
Lots of fun, plenty of laughter, too many cocktails.
