The Upspringing Spirit

An ordinary Monday: remote work day, short walk with Peetu and Yin yoga class.

Weather was terrible! It rained quite heavily all day and  snow melted fast.

Hubby picked me up from Yoga after he had wet walk with Peetu in slush. On the way home I took a photo of Kaarina Kaikkonen's impressive installation Sisulla noustiin (The Upspringing Spirit). Kaikkonen has told that this installation is a praise for Finnish sisu and cross-country skiing tradition.

Those who love cross-country skiing must be very disappointed that skiing season is now paused
