Before the storm

This is Saturday

The only photos I took today were of the few remaining items on the Ikea Christmas stand, now on the dining room mantlepiece:  I photographed this cherub in the half light while outside it grew rather wilder as Storm bert approached.  Mr MC was brave enough to umpire hockey locally today whilst I remained indoors.

Today marks  the 57th anniversary of my mum's death in 1967, and by coincidence, that of her younger brother in 2015.
