The Heart of Time

I happened to pass an Op Shop recently and noticed this clock on display. I thought it be just the right item for one of my grand daughters but my wife felt that it was ludicrous and not the thing they would like. I then suggested that she might desire it but was met with a resounding NO! It now resides in my garage out of sight but still ticking on into eternity provided the batteries last.
