Day to Night

A day off for me (Chris) to attend another excellent photography workshop with Paul Wilkinson. The aim of the session was to shoot portraits in changing light conditions from day through to night. We started early afternoon and shot through to 8pm this evening using natural and artificial light sources (some present in the urban environment and others set up by us). We have too very patient models and lots of time and space to try out different ideas under Paul's excellent guidance. It was particular interesting to see how how the how ISO performance of newer cameras together with even improving continuous lighting could be used very effectively. Lots of options to blip but I liked this one as not being such an obvious "portrait".
