Flying high

Yesterday was such beautiful sunny weather that we planned a class trip to the park for today.  The kids made their own picnic lunch and we packed the gear and booked the transport. Of course the weather turned on us, but we went anyway.  The students played on the playground, sliding down wet slides and sheltering from the rain in the tunnels.    We ate our picnic in light drizzle then had a 10 minute window of dry weather to fly the kites.
Of course it cleared pretty much as soon as we got back to class.
