Loving the grass

The weather is beautifully sunny with a very crisp chill in the air. We enjoyed a good amount of lawn time today. Oscar is loving exploring the garden in his 'Red Band' gumboots. He has been digging in the garden and picking more mandarins today. Maple had some lovely time on the grass too. She sat there for ages feeling it between her fingers and playing with the soil. It's good to smell the fresh air.

Stu flew back to Dubai this afternoon with Uncle Rock and Aunty Becky. I am slightly envious of a flight where you can eat in peace and watch as many uninterrupted movies as you desire. I am not envious about 5 weeks away from the trio, however. (Maybe just the chance to catch up on sleep!)
