Oktoberfest
The first thing you need to do when planning a run in a city is to find somewhere nice to go, and then you have to work out how you’ll get there.
That didn’t work very well for me, today: my route to the park used too many main roads, so I was weaving through pedestrians, and then the park itself was, well, as you can see, not really a park.
It's called Theresienwiese and it turned out to be the site of Munich’s Oktoberfest, which seemed to be in the process of being dismantled.
All that said, I rather enjoyed the run; it was clear and chilly, and it felt good to put some miles in my legs. And my new top kept me warm :-)
