Bath time

The starlings, and a couple of sparrows who didn’t want to miss out, loved this puddle. We watched and listened to them splashing; a runner came by and they all flew up, returning boldly just a few seconds later.
Busy day; sent off new secondhand camera to E who will only use film; took my application forms into school; patiently endured pharmacy queue - staff there are so kind and patient themselves, and one day it’ll be my turn to need this. Cooked lasagne, apple and cinnamon cake and leek and chicken pie. Felt a bit rubbish all day but nice TV and gentle evening were soothing.
