Cardoon

The seedhead of a statuesque cardoon. Such useful  and eyecatching plants. 

Walked to the library to collect the new Rebus book. Had coffee and a good chat with a friend. Off to Glasgow soon to collect my grandson from school. His mum and dad will be later home today as it's parents' night. We'll stay and have something to eat with them and travel home after rush hour. 

A very odd night for me and not nearly enough sleep. Early night asap!
