Walk on by

After such a manic Saturday, Sunday just has to be a quieter day. We opt out of any gallery or theatre visits - though there’s an afternoon performance in Sadlers Wells that’s tempting.

Instead, we go up to Archway and spend the afternoon with Simon and Lloyd in their flat. I’m keen to see ‘Blitz’ and as it’s now streaming on Apple TV, we watch it with them. To be honest it’s a bit disappointing. There are great performances and high production values, but it feels like a mixture of The Railway Children, Oliver Twist and Titanic - the working class of the weekend have to fight to have access to underground stations as shelters.

Then it’s back to the hotel, a drink in the bar and a bit of television before bed! Definitely a more relaxing day!

I’m cheating a bit today; no photos taken, so here’s a set of street shots from Saturday. My main is the shopfront of Georgio Armani, with another Christmas shop window in extras, then two seasonal scenes from Sloane Square.
