Tattie ( Potato) Shed

The main fundraising project of our small Rotary club is the annual sale of Rooster tatties kindly donated by one of our honorary members.

We are fortunate to have a few farmers in our club and one of them allows us to store them in a shed that once was a proper tattie store but now used more for storing the combine during winter and other implements.

A few of us gathered along with representatives of some of the organisations who benefit from our tattie sales and can be seen in the extras.

We will be busy for the next few weeks selling them . So far I have collected 60 of the 7.5 kg bags and sold them from the comfort of my armchair using WhatsApp ! - much easier than standing in the cold in one of the garden centre car parks where we sell most of them.
