Chaffinch

Had the most glorious walk this morning.  Most of my blipping time was spent trying to get a decent image of the many long-tailed tits pipping about in the trees, but in the end this was a better shot than any of those.  Long-tailed tits never stay still for a second, but thankfully this little girl gave me a full quarter minute to get the shots in ;)))

Two days of sunshine, but tomorrow looks like it's going to be grey again.  Never mind, as long as we don't go back to complete gloom.

How much is everyone into Christmas yet?  I'm totally not, but I suppose as usual I will suddenly panic halfway through December.  Should I start making the dreaded lists?  Or the Xmas pud?  Perhaps I'll just go down to the Christmas Market at the Cathedral tomorrow to see if the mood strikes me  ;-/
