Fly Past

Last week when I had a walk here a young deer popped out in front of me.  It stayed closeby for several minutes watching me and posing.  BUT  -  I didn't have my camera.

This week on the same track I made sure I had the camera with me.  No sign of the Deer, and I eventually heard a couple of dogs barking which usually means no chance a deer will appear.  But then just as I was leaving this Heron swooped past me.  So I got to use the camera after all, even though my settings were more for a deer rather than a bird in flight.
