Long shadows
A lovely day though getting chilly afternoon.
Busy day, putting two washing loads out, dog walks, wholefood warehouse shop and cooking.
Made a Persian recipe khoresht-e-ghormeh sabzi. It's a sauce with chopped onion, chopped herbs and spinach and beans, dried limes and lime juice. I didn't have dried limes so have used lime and lemon juice. The recipe usually has meat in it but as a vegetarian I'm making do with the beans and sauteed chopped chestnut mushrooms. The lemon and lime juice impart a delicious tangy flavour.
My mother used to make this dish.
