Car on fire!

Today F and I went to Telford to meet friends from Sutton Coldfield as it's half way between us. We had a lovely meal and a good catch up of news.

After all the rain from Storm Bert at the weekend the River Severn was so high that it had burst it's banks and had flooded the surrounding land in many places.

On the way home we stopped at Atcham for me to take photos of the floods which are extras.  There's one of it going under the bridge- - the pub's garden was completely under water.  The other one is of some of the flooded fields.

When we got almost home on the A5 we passed this car on fire.  Luckily the occupants were out of the vehicle.  According to the internet, the fire fighters put it out with foam.

It was a very fierce blaze, we could feel the heat from it inside our car.  F thinks that it was probably an electrical fault that caused it.  I managed to get a shot as F was driving.
