Silk Crystal

Another cool mural by artist Silk Crystal that has popped up in the town :)

It was the Cairn Conservation Carers AGM today. Tim and I got in the car to drive down there (as I'm exhausted and he's done his knee in), and it wouldn't start! We just haven't used it recently enough, due to the above. So in the end we decided I would walk down there (and hopefully cadge a lift back) and Tim would stay home to get Green Flag out.

The AGM was preceded by a talk from the Finding Nature's Footprints team from the North Devon AONB (or National Landscape as it's called now), and it was so interesting. All about everything they've been up to in the past year, as well as loads of info on how to support wildlife in your garden. The AGM bit (after some tea and cake) was very quick - the right kind of balance! And I was lucky enough that Green Flag had sent someone out very quickly, and they'd got the car restarted, so Tim was able to drive down and pick me up.
