Heron

When I woke up this morning the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was.  The wind had died down.  The sun was shining and I headed to the gym for a sprint cycle class.

Back home I continued work on the Scotland images but since it was such a lovely day took time out in the afternoon to go down to the beach.  I spotted this Heron waiting to catch a fish in the estuary area.

It was then back home to the computer.  I noticed on the news that Exmouth has suffered from the sand being blown over the road alongside the beach but fortunately not from any flooding.  Other areas of the country have certainly suffered.
