A day in the life

By Shelling

All's well

Some of you has wondered what happened to the calf that had a difficult birth. Well, it was born outside in the mud, more or less, the cow was licking it clean but it was very weak so the farmer brought it into the sheltered place and put it in the hay. That was four or five days ago and this is the current situation. The other calfs are running about like greyhounds and the little one wants to but has to gain a bit more strenght. Here he/she is, on its way to the canteen.

We're in a mild weather streak but I'm busy indoors playing and arranging some songs for a play. The play is rather a long way off but we've planned to record the music for it first or second week of December. I don't want to leave it to the last minute and today I've come quite a bit on the way, which is good, once December comes along, there's usually a lot more that will consume time.
