On stage

My first time singing at a gig with the Soul Choir this afternoon, a charity concert at Picturedrome in Holmfirth. We were first on stage, and after initial nerves - goodness knows how I ended up on the front row - it was great fun. After Soul Choir were two other fantastic choirs - the young people from True Talent Theatre School, and then Huddersfield Community Gospel Choir. Finally, all three choirs - with the Soul Choir on the balcony at the back - singing 'Lean on Me'. What a finale! Walked home through the drizzle with Judith afterwards, and then back to normality, cooking our evening meal...
