Light seeping through

An old house provides daily surprises with shadows and sudden beams of light.
I used to be addicted to the video game Oblivion. There are goblin caves whose entrances are closed by rough-hewn wooden doors. When you're escaping from pursuing goblins, seeing the light from the outside through the gaps in the planks comes as a welcome relief. Our utility room door is like that. :)
