Contrasting Colors

I could have taken a picture of the little color chart taped to my bookshelf, but this preview of the quilted jacket/coat, (I haven't decided which yet...depends on how many stars i can stand to make) seemed a reasonable subject as well, though not exactly tiny. The individual pieces in the small stars are, however quite tiny! One more to go, but I haven't fchosen a color yet.It will have something different on the back, but I haven't figured that out yet. This is very preliminary, and it is difficult to imagine how it will look when it is put together, but I won't have time to work on it for awhile.

The sun was very welcome when it finally came out this afternoon, but now that it has gone down, it is quickly turning cold. With no cloud cover to keep the heat in. we may need an extra quilt on the bed tonight.

Reading that after four years of work, the Special Prosecutor has asked to have the case against the once and future (I'm sure he wouldn't mind being called king and I can't think of an appropriate word, but you know who I mean) dismissed, I'm doing my best to see the reasons for it.
1) The Special Prosecutor plans to resign before the former becomes the current. He probably fears for his life if he didn't and may still feel that he needs to emigrate somewhere far away for the next 4 years.
2) No matter how despicable the once and future is, he has been elected and how bad would it look to have him governing the country from jail? 
It all beggars disbelief....

I think I'll go make cranberry sauce.
